OSHA Guidance on Returning to Work
OSHA 4045-06 2020 (unique OSHA identifier)
Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA Guidance on Returning to Work assists employers and workers in safely returning to work and reopening businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the Guiding Principles, Hazard assessment, can be achieved very effectively with sam’s Risk Assessment Module. It provides the employer with an easy-to-use, intuitive solution to assess every job (including the SOP and the practices that likely present a risk of exposure for the employee while performing their job duties), tasks, equipment, etc., and the associated risks. Based on the Risk Assessment, Measures and Actions will be created to mitigate these risks.
Two of the Guiding Principles, Hygiene, and Training can be operationalized by secova’s sam 360 Training, Certification, and Instruction solution. It offers multiple computer-based training courses on the Pandemic topic, which can be conducted as group sessions, one–on–one, or computer-based training. Sam’s Track & Train allows for QR codes in, i.e., bathrooms to remind employees of “Handwashing ” by scanning the QR code with their hand held device, and the sam EHS App will play the training incl. Videos. All courses are editable and customizable by the employer.
Another Guiding Principle, Controls, is supported by sam’s Survey & Audit Module, where Audits can operationalize Controls effectively. Use the integrated checklists to comply with the SARS-CoV-2 occupational safety OSHA guidance developed by OSHA.
